Team Member - Preparation and Cooking

Salary £11.56 per hour (increasing after training)

The Vacancy

The team manage the preparation of ingredients and then go on to ensure everything is perfectly cooked ready for our assembly teams to put the dishes together.

As a preparation and cooking team member you will be:

•   Weighing ingredients
•   Hand cutting or slicing fresh ingredients
•   Following recipe cards
•   Managing and operating the cooking equipment, ensuring that specific cooking times and methods are followed
•   Maintaining high hygiene levels and keeping a tidy workspace
•   Maintaining food preparation records and logs
•   Conducting quality checks to ensure that the Bigham’s standards are met
•   Carrying out effective and accurate shift handovers
•   Flagging any issues with the equipment within your area

Working Hours - 5 days in 7 (9 hour shifts)
